Super Tuesday robot phone calls
If Hillary Clinton wins the Democratic Party Presidential nomination, somebody needs to explain early voting (in Tennessee and an increasing number of other states) to the robots that dial phone calls on her behalf.
I voted in the primary last week, on the very last day of early voting. The day after early voting had ended, the robot phone calls from Hillary (and occasionally calls from Bill) began. I didn’t count how many times their voices turned up on our home phone or answering machine, but there were at least a half dozen calls in total, over about 5 days. A direct mail piece –the first one in a long time — arrived in today’s mail, too late to be useful to the campaign.
Absurdly, the last phone message was recorded on the answering machine less than 1/2 hour before the polls closed this evening — that would have been a useful campaign message if the message had said “the polls close at 8 pm — don’t forget to vote,” but it was just another generic “vote for me” message. Sigh…

We also have recieved the so called “robot” calls. Most of them while the family is eating dinner. I understand she wants to win, but calls at dinnertime and annoying families with a half-a-dozen calls isn’t helping.

This was the most unfair election I ever experienced. This was no competition. The Clintons were muzzled by the media. I listened the radio, watched TV, saw the blogs. If 5% support went out to Hillary, that was a lot.
So, all you Dems out there who have such viceral hatred for Hillary, I would like to know if you all prefer to have a second Repub back in the White House in ‘09. If a Repub wins this next election in November ‘08, you deserve what you get for your short-sightedness and hatred.
I am telling you now that your Obama is a paper tiger. You have the real thing staring you in the face but you would prefer to pare your nose off in order to spite your face. Obama is a coward!!! Can you in all honesty say that about Hillary?? You know that she will go to the mat for America. And, very few people know the ins and outs of government (state and federal) as much as she does

I remember reading that those calls break the “do not call” list laws. I think it might just be the robots…
